Come out of Egypt

Yesterday morning as I was reading Genesis, I read that Abram went down into Egypt because there was a famine in the land.  Well, when there is famine and lack, it is so easy to go into the place where you will be forced into slavery. Then after a time, it is hard to leave that security. There is food on the table. The bills are being paid and the bill collectors are not calling anymore. 

The Lord said to me this morning: Come out of Egypt! It is time! Out of Egypt I am calling you. He gave me a song and it ran through my head all day long. He also said to me: I am giving you my pen, the Pen of the Lord. Write what I tell you. 

Coming out of Egypt and the Pen of the Lord..they are connected somehow.  

I am working at a job that is slavery. It is hard work and little compensation..but He has told me to stay for nearly 5 years. Out of Egypt..after this long it is a little scary. Where oh where are You taking me, Lord?
